Terms of Use
These terms apply to parkio.dev and the Parkio public beta. Parkio is an early-stage parking intelligence product. By using the service, you agree to use it responsibly and understand the limits of real-time parking information.
1. Beta service
Parkio is provided as an evolving beta. Features, availability, data coverage, and interfaces may change as the product develops. Parkio may suspend, modify, or discontinue beta functionality when reasonably necessary.
2. Parking information is not a guarantee
Community reports, municipal data, occupancy information, and other parking signals may be delayed, incomplete, incorrect, or become outdated quickly. Parkio does not guarantee that a parking space or facility will be available when you arrive.
3. Driver responsibility
You are responsible for observing road signs, parking rules, local regulations, physical conditions, payment requirements, permit restrictions, and instructions at the location. Do not interact with Parkio in a way that distracts you while driving.
4. Community contributions
If you submit parking information or other content, you are responsible for having the right to submit it and for keeping it lawful and reasonably accurate. You must not submit misleading, abusive, unlawful, privacy-invasive, or harmful content.
5. Municipal and third-party data
Parkio may display data obtained from municipal, public, mapping, or other third-party sources. Source attribution may be shown where appropriate. Displaying a source or municipality does not by itself mean that Parkio is officially partnered with, endorsed by, or operated by that organization.
6. Acceptable use
You may not interfere with the service, bypass security controls, scrape or overload the service in a harmful manner, misuse accounts, reverse engineer protected components where prohibited by law, or use Parkio to violate applicable law or third-party rights.
7. Accounts and availability
Where an account is required, you are responsible for maintaining the security of your credentials. Parkio may restrict or suspend access to protect users, data, infrastructure, or the integrity of the beta.
8. Intellectual property
Parkio's brand, interface, software, and original content are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws. Third-party maps, data, logos, or content remain subject to their respective owners' rights and terms.
9. Disclaimer
To the extent permitted by applicable law, the beta is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis without warranties that parking data will always be accurate, complete, uninterrupted, or suitable for every situation.
10. Changes
These terms may be updated as the product and applicable requirements change. The current version will be published on this page with its updated date.
